Eligibility:

• Open to Canadian residents aged 20-70.
• Proof of Canadian residency and age is required.

Prizes:

• Certificate: Awarded by Portugalo-Portuguese Heritage Inc.
• Gift Basket: Valued at $100.00.
• Cash Award: $200.00.
• Public Recognition: The winner will be invited to the Main Stage at Portugalo Fest 2025 for a special acknowledgment.

Submission Guidelines:

• Deadline: Submit your design by September 30,  2024, 11:59 pm.
• Format: High-resolution PNG with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi. Include source files in a ZIP if needed.
• Email: Send submissions to [email protected].
• Personal Information: Include your name, address, phone number, and age in the email.
• Limit: One submission per participant.

Design Specifications:

• Original Work: Your design must be original and created specifically for Portugalo Fest.
• Theme: Reflect “Portuguese Culture” in your design.
• Style: Simple, versatile, and memorable.
• Colors: Use only red, green, gold, white, and blue.
• Special Feature: The Portuguese Rooster symbol should replace the letter “a” in the word “Portugalo.”

Judging Criteria:

Our judging panel will evaluate submissions based on:

• Originality
• Creativity
• Relevance to Theme
• Visual Appeal
• Overall Design Quality

Ownership & Usage Rights:

• By submitting a design, you agree to transfer ownership to Portugalo-Portuguese Heritage Inc.
• We reserve the right to use and modify the design for any purpose.
• Credit will be given to the designer on our official webpage and social media.
